Texas Hold’Em Poker is the most popular form of poker game played in casinos these days.A 52-card deck is required to play this competitive card game, where the competitors playing on the same table in an online poker room, pit against each other.A table can consist of any number of players, between two to thousands.
Texas Hold’Em Poker is a community card poker game where five community cards are used and shared among the players. In order to win, the players have to make the best 5-card hand, in each round. While playing a tournament or series, players need to prevent the loss of all of their cards in order to avoid elimination from the game.
To begin the game, the first player to the dealer’s left, issues a bet. He pays the small blind. The second player then pays the big blind, whose value is double the value of the small blind. The blinds continue to move around the table in a clockwise motion and every player gets a turn to pay both the blinds. Once the blinds are paid, two pocket cards face down are passed to every player from the dealer. These are private cards, which can prove helpful in making the final poker hand for the players.
After the first deal, the player sitting to the dealer’s left begins the first round of betting.Any player who does not agree to match the bet ‘fold’ has to give up his cards and discontinue the game. The remaining players on the table next get ready for the Flop, where each player shows the first three shared cards. The players bet again and show the fourth community card in the Turn. After betting once again, the final community card is shown in the River. The final round of betting follows and then the competitors show their final hands. The player finishing with the best 5-card hand is declared the winner.
